Overall purpose of the role
The Digital Services Team deliver and support all the digital systems and services for Audit Scotland’s business functions. Although a member of the Digital Services Team, you will be embedded full time in our Data Analytics Core Team. The Data Analytics Core Team help deliver the data-driven tools and resources that auditors use to question, explore, and communicate how public bodies are delivering their services across Scotland.
You will maintain, build and improve the growing suite of in-house data-driven web applications that we need to support world-class public audit. You will support our Digital Audit strategy, providing new insights into the financial health and performance of public bodies across Scotland.

You will be a software developer, engineer (or similar), with an interest in data science, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail.
